Take a picturesque drive through the interlinking villages of Stirling, Mt Barker and Woodside. The National Motor Museum at Birdwood is an automotive treasure trove where you can learn about Australian motoring history. Or you can simply taste your way around the many cellar doors. This cool climate wine region specialises in chardonnay, pinot noir and sauvignon blanc. Be sure to taste the delicious food at one of the cellar door restaurants – The Lane Vineyard and Bridgewater Mill are local favourites. Visit the Cleland Wildlife Park to experience Australian wildlife, or enjoy a relaxing walk along one of the many well marked walking trails. Overnight in Hahndorf.
