1 Night Best of Kangaroo Island
Kangaroo Island is Australia’s wildlife paradise and the best place in the country to see native animals like koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, wallabies, sea lions and little penguins in their natural habitat. If you’re short on time, the 1 night coast to coast tour is the perfect way to experience the best of Kangaroo Island.
You’ll be picked up from your Adelaide accommodation and transferred by coach to Cape Jervis, the departure point of the Sealink Ferry to Kangaroo Island. After a 45 minute ferry ride to the island, you’ll meet your Sealink guide and set off on a Kangaroo Island tour. You’ll visit Clifford’s Honey Farm, home of the rare Ligurian bee and have the chance to taste its unique and distinctive honey. Make sure you try their honey ice cream, it’s delicious! Next enjoy a guided walk along the beach at Seal Bay Conservation Park and see hundreds of seals in the wild. After lunch, marvel at the spectacular Raptor Domain Birds of Prey In-flight Show before heading to Kingscote to watch pelicans feeding on the waterfront. Overnight on Kangaroo Island.
Start the 2nd day of your package sampling oils and a range of products at the Emu Ridge Eucalypt Distillery before feeding kangaroos at Parndana Wildlife Park. Wander through Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and keep an eye out for koalas in the trees above you. You’ll need your camera when you visit the spectacular rock formations of the Flinders Chase National Park, home of the Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. In the afternoon, you’ll make your way back to Penneshaw, the departure point of the Sealink ferry to the mainland. Upon arrival at Cape Jervis, you’ll be transferred by coach back to your accommodation in Adelaide.
